Pay or shift range: $70,305 USD to $74,000 USD
The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.

THE OPPORTUNITY
The Portfolio Analyst monitors borrower performance, identifies deviations from expected performance, and raises credit concerns to the portfolio team. This role develops an understanding of clients’ operating performance and needs while building strong internal and external working relationships. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Conduct financial analysis of borrowers’ credit and collateral, with an emphasis on data collection and analysis.

Validate borrower compliance with the Loan & Security Agreement.

Perform financial, operational, valuation, and transactional analyses.

Assist with underwriting modifications and renewals for borrowers and presenting deals to the credit committee.

Complete borrower risk assessments.

Maintain the integrity of financial and other key information in internal bank systems.

Produce internal deliverables.

Collaborate with portfolio company management teams to understand performance and financial needs.

Travel to client sites.

Follow all established policies and procedures.

Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics and/or relevant work experience or training required.

Ability to analyze financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.

Above-average knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical skills and resourcefulness necessary to complete in-depth industry and market analyses.

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Comfortable interacting directly with clients.

Self-starter.

Strong attention to detail.

One to two years of related experience or public accounting experience preferred.

Master’s degree or higher preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent required.
