DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position supports daily office operations by handling communication, scheduling, and record management.
As a Clerical Assistant, you will perform the following duties:

Phone and Mail:Answer calls, direct messages, handle inquiries, and manage incoming and outgoing mail

Typing and Review:Prepare documents, check for errors, make corrections, and distribute materials
-
Scheduling and Meetings:Arrange appointments, coordinate meetings, and record minutes when needed
-
Records and Data:Maintain filing systems, update databases, and manage reports and spreadsheets

Office Support:Compile activity records, enter essential data, track supplies, and support smooth workflow

General Tasks:Assist with photocopying, scanning, emailing, and keeping the office tidy

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
-
Work hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,831.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 ( Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration ) ; or
-
Graduation from high school; or
-
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
-
Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
-
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
