Full job description
The Information Systems / Business Analyst III serves as the College's primary resource for technology and artificial intelligence (AI) training and adoption. This position develops, delivers, and continuously improves training programs that support enterprise technologies, digital workplace initiatives, and emerging technologies. Working collaboratively with Information Technology staff, college departments, and leadership, the Business Analyst promotes technology proficiency, digital literacy, and the effective use of enterprise systems to enhance productivity and support institutional priorities. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop, design, and maintain technology training materials, job aids, presentations, videos, guides, and other learning resources that support enterprise applications and digital workplace technologies. Utilize AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance training content and learning outcomes.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced training programs that support the adoption and effective use of enterprise technologies, software applications, and digital workplace tools.
- Assess organizational training needs and collaborate with departments to identify knowledge gaps, recommend learning solutions, and support technology adoption initiatives across the college.
- Research, evaluate, and monitor emerging technologies, industry trends, and advancements in artificial intelligence to identify opportunities for training, professional development, and organizational improvement.
- Update and enhance training programs and instructional materials to ensure content remains current, relevant, and aligned with evolving business needs, technology initiatives, and industry best practices.
- Develop, maintain, and adhere to institutional documentation standards, operational procedures, technical standards, and security requirements. Support change management, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives within Information Technology.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, students, vendors, and external partners to understand business needs and identify opportunities to improve processes and technology utilization through training and education.
- Provide exceptional customer service and serve as a technology learning resource for the college community while promoting a positive, service-oriented culture.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
This position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and experience in computer system development and modification. Relevant experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.
- Experience developing and delivering technology training programs for diverse audiences.
- Experience creating instructional materials, training guides, videos, presentations, job aids, and other learning resources.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training best practices.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications, digital workplace technologies, or information technology initiatives.
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence tools and technologies and their practical application in workplace productivity and learning environments.
- Experience presenting information and delivering training in classroom, virtual, and self-paced learning environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, students, vendors, and technology professionals
