Responsibilities
What you will do

Patient Interaction & Prep
-
Transports Patient
-
Verify patient identity using two identifiers.
-
Complete and document pre-procedure screening (e.g., contrast consent).
-
Educate patients about the procedure.
-
Communicate readiness to remote technologist.
-
Physical Setup
-
Position the patient correctly on the scanner table.
-
Prepare positioning aids
-
Loads contrast injector
-
Contrast Administration
-
Monitor for adverse reactions and initiate emergency response if needed.

Emergency Readiness
-
Initiate BLS protocols if required
-
Escalate to on-site technologists, physician or EMS per facility protocol

Communication
-
Maintain continuous two-way communication with the remote technologist during the scan

Complete Exam Data Entry
Qualifications
Education
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
Work Experience
-
No experience required
-
Recent experience in cardiac monitoring and arrhythmia interpretation preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- BLS certification required
