Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Dual Hat Quality Control/Site Safety Health Officer to support one of their federal contracting clients at Fairchild AFB in Washington. The individual will support a large-scale civil construction project across multiple military installations. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing both construction quality and site safety on large-scale civil, utility, and site development projects. The projects include earthwork, grading, road construction, underground utilities, power infrastructure, fuel systems, communications infrastructure, security fencing, and equipment foundation installations. This is a fully onsite role requiring 5 days a week onsite.
Responsibilities •Lead the project’s Quality Control and Site Safety programs •Ensure work complies with contract specifications, USACE EM 385-1-1, OSHA, and applicable federal requirements •Conduct daily quality and safety inspections, toolbox talks, and jobsite audits •Review and maintain Accident Prevention Plans, Activity Hazard Analyses, QC reports, and required site documentation •Oversee quality and safety activities during earthwork, road construction, utility installation, concrete placement, and heavy-equipment operations •Identify deficiencies or hazards, coordinate corrective actions, and verify completion •Work closely with project leadership, subcontractors, field crews, and government representatives •Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and near misses as required
Skills and Requirements
-5+ years' experience of Quality Control (QC) and Site Safety experience (SSHO) -Construction Quality Management Certification (CQM) -EM 385-1-1 Certification -Experience supporting civil construction projects
