Work Shift Day (United States of America)
Schedule:
- Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM
This position supports rehabilitation services by assisting licensed Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists in providing age-appropriate patient care. Additional responsibilities include administrative support for therapists and general departmental duties as needed.
Core Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
- Assist therapists with patient treatment under direct supervision.
- Provide a "second set of hands" when needed during therapy sessions.
- Perform general administrative support tasks for therapists.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and supplies are readily available.
Required Qualifications: Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Certifications & Licensure:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.
Experience:
- Prior experience in an Outpatient Rehab patient care setting (preferred).
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
