Job Description
Key Responsibilities Global Capacity Strategy
-
Develop and own the enterprise capacity strategy across all manufacturing partners and supply chain nodes.
-
Translate long-range business plans, customer demand signals, and technology roadmaps into actionable capacity requirements.
-
Lead capacity planning processes spanning tactical, operational, and strategic planning horizons.
-
Drive alignment between growth plans and manufacturing capabilities to support business objectives. Strategic Supplier Capacity Management
-
Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with key manufacturing partners.
-
Lead capacity commitment and allocation discussions with foundries, OSATs, substrate suppliers, and critical component suppliers.
-
Assess supplier expansion plans, utilization profiles, and risk factors impacting future capacity availability.
-
Negotiate and secure strategic capacity to support growth initiatives and customer demand. Constraint Management & Risk Mitigation

Identify and proactively manage supply chain bottlenecks and capacity constraints.
-
Develop mitigation plans and contingency strategies for critical supply risks.
-
Lead executive reviews of capacity-related risks, tradeoffs, and recommended actions.

Drive supply resiliency and business continuity strategies across key manufacturing partners. Executive Scenario Planning

Develop and maintain capacity models used for strategic planning and executive decision making.

Perform scenario analysis evaluating demand variability, supplier constraints, technology transitions, inventory impacts, and growth opportunities.

Provide executive recommendations on capacity investments, allocation strategies, and supply risk management.

Support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and long-range planning processes. Capacity Analytics & Digital Transformation

Build advanced planning and analytics capabilities supporting data-driven capacity decisions.

Lead development of capacity planning dashboards, control tower capabilities, and executive reporting.

Drive adoption of automation, AI, machine learning, and advanced planning technologies.

Establish data governance and planning standards across the organization. Cross-Functional Business Leadership Partner closely with:

Build and scale a high-performing global capacity planning organization.

Recruit, develop, and retain top planning and analytics talent.

Establish organizational governance, decision-making frameworks, and operating rhythms.

Develop bench strength and succession plans for critical roles.
Skills and Requirements
Required
-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Finance, or related field.
-
15+ years of experience in semiconductor operations, supply chain, manufacturing, planning, or related leadership positions.
-
8+ years leading global organizations and cross-functional teams.
-
Experience managing outsourced manufacturing environments and strategic supplier relationships.
-
Demonstrated success driving transformational initiatives and organizational change.
-
Semiconductor industry experience including foundry and OSAT ecosystems.
-
Deep expertise in: o Capacity Planning o Supply Planning o Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) o Integrated Business Planning (IBP) o Manufacturing Operations o Supply Chain Analytics
-
Experience with advanced planning systems and digital supply chain platforms.

MBA or Master's degree preferred.
