Job Description
The Supply Chain Expeditor will play a critical role in ensuring materials are delivered on time to support manufacturing operations. This individual will work closely with suppliers, purchasing, procurement, planning, and manufacturing teams to identify shortages, track open purchase orders, and resolve supply chain issues before they impact production. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, negotiating with suppliers, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Skills and Requirements
2+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Procurement, Materials Management, Logistics, or a related field. Experience working directly with suppliers and managing purchase orders. Experience using SAP or another ERP/MRP system. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and follow-up skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Experience within electronics manufacturing, electronics distribution, or contract manufacturing environments. Experience with contract management. Exposure to supplier performance management and expediting activities. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Operations, or a related field. APICS/ASCM certifications (CPIM, CSCP) are a plus.
