HVAC Mobile Engineer

About the Role:

As a CBRE HVAC Mobile Engineer, you will maintain mechanicaland electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems at multiple facilities.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Servicesjob function. They are responsible for providing support, preventivemaintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do

• Impact a range of customer, operation, project, or serviceactivities within your team and other related teams.

• Work within broad guidelines and policies to conductinspections and ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment, ensuringcompliance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.

• Troubleshoot equipment failures, determine the best courseof action for equipment modifications, and apply your expertise to maintain,operate, and repair HVAC systems and associated equipment, including electricaldistribution and plumbing systems.

• Perform assigned repairs, emergency, and preventivemaintenance, while also completing maintenance and repair records as required.

• Operate company-issued vehicles in the execution of dailywork responsibilities.

• Apply an in-depth knowledge of standard principles,techniques, and procedures to accomplish complex tasks and solve non-routineproblems.

• Coach others and share your in-depth knowledge of HVACsystems and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.

• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent withCBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach anagreement.

• Impact the quality of your work and the work of others onthe team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

• Explain complex information to others in a straightforwardmanner, ensuring that team members and clients understand technical details andsolutions.

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination ofexperience and education will be considered. Prior shift manager or supervisoryexperience is preferred.

• Meet the physical requirements of this role includingstooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability tolift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutionsand apply innovative thinking to your work.

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examplesinclude Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Strong organizational skills with an advanced inquisitivemindset, capable of analyzing and solving mildly complex problems.

• Sophisticated math skills, with the ability to calculatemildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and otherfinancial-related calculations.
