Full job description

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and supply chain industry, is seeking a Supply Assurance Buyer to join their team. As a Supply Assurance Buyer, you will be part of the GSC LSG Operations Department supporting critical supply chain functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Supply Assurance Buyer

Location: Hercules, CA

Pay Range: $37.30-$45.00/hr

Shift: Monday-Friday, day shift

What's the Job?

  • Place purchase orders for goods and services needed to support manufacturing operations.

  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure supply chain efficiency and reliability.

  • Monitor inventory and stock levels to meet production and inventory goals.

  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and expedite orders to support production schedules.

  • Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities and participate in supplier audits and reviews.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 1-3 years of experience in purchasing or production planning roles.

  • Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.

  • Strong understanding of purchasing principles and supply chain processes.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
