Job Summary

The Senior Field Service Technician is responsible for initiating and executing field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. This role includes proactive system troubleshooting, working with mechanical, electrical, and diesel equipment, conducting preventative maintenance, maintaining parts inventory, and identifying and correcting safety issues involving both Company and customer-owned equipment. This position has direct interaction with customers and may involve work across multiple systems, locations, and customer sites. Water treatment experience is preferred but not required.

To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Driving Requirements

  • Completion of Driver Application for Employment

  • Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)

  • Driver Disclosure and Release

  • Employee Applicant Drug and Alcohol Statement

Education & Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Work experience preferred

  • 2–5 years of technical work experience, including industrial or commercial process water experience

  • Ability to obtain all required customer clearances, such as TWIC, DISA, etc.

  • Clean driving record

  • May have industry-specific license(s)

Skill Requirements

  • Electrical, mechanical, diesel, and/or fusion experience depending on business unit

  • Ability to work without direct supervision

  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and smart devices

  • Customer service experience

  • Demonstrated critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities

  • Ability to synthesize technical information and communicate it clearly

  • Ability to use customer experiences and technical knowledge to develop solutions and achieve results, including in novel or unexpected situations

Compensation

The estimated pay range for this position is $26 to $29 per hour. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location.
