The Multimedia Manager leads the multimedia design function within Syracuse University Global's Center for Online and Digital Learning (CODL), producing accessible educational content that engages a diverse, global student audience. This role requires a collaborative Multimedia Designer and Manager with strong communication skills and a genuine desire to innovate in support of busy adult learners and the pace of course development.

The Multimedia Manager is accountable for the team's performance, creative output, and the visual quality of course deliverables. This role bridges the design team and the broader organization's translating priorities into team direction, and representing the team's capacity and standards to leadership and partners, including instructional designers, video production, and faculty developers.

The Multimedia Manager is a player-coach; an experienced UI/UX and visual designer who leads the team while remaining an active contributor, taking on design and course-development work alongside leadership duties, and owning the standards, tools, and direction that keep the function running effectively.

This role requires on-campus presence and occasional evening/weekend flexibility, in a fast-paced environment supporting non-traditional learners through an evolving, data-informed model.
