Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior AI Security Architect to join one of our clients in the government sector. This role sits on the Information Security Emerging Technologies team and is responsible for evaluating the security of AI and other emerging technology solutions before they are adopted within the enterprise. The individual will conduct security assessments of AI platforms, large language models (LLMs), AI agents, RAG implementations, and AI-enabled applications, while evaluating security, privacy, compliance, and operational risks. Responsibilities include performing threat modeling and architecture reviews, identifying required security controls and mitigation strategies, validating controls such as authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring, content filtering, and data protection, and assessing vendor AI security capabilities and deployment models for compliance with enterprise standards. The role also supports the development and execution of AI security testing methodologies, including prompt injection, jailbreak, adversarial, misuse, and data leakage testing, and is responsible for documenting risks, recommendations, and remediation requirements to ensure AI solutions can be securely deployed.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience can be concurrent:
  • Six (6) years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, security architecture, cloud security, or security engineering.
  • Three (3) years of experience performing security assessments, architecture reviews, threat modeling, or security control evaluations.
  • Two (2) years of experience assessing or securing cloud-based technologies, SaaS platforms, or emerging technologies.
  • Familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 for LLMs and MITRE ATLAS frameworks.
  • Experience evaluating technical security controls, including identity and access management, logging and monitoring, encryption, vulnerability management, and security architecture.
  • Experience documenting security risks and providing written recommendations to business and technical stakeholders.
  • Practical experience with AI architectures, including LLMs, RAG, APIs transactions, or orchestration frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience producing security assessment reports, risk analyses, or security architecture documentation.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, CCSK, Azure Security Engineer, or equivalent.
  • Experience evaluating AI, machine learning, large language models (LLMs), AI agents, or retrieval augmented generation (RAG) technologies.
