As a CBRE Sr. Regional Facilities Manager, you'll oversee facility operationswhile working onsite with the client in San Jose, CA.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide senior-level leadership toFacilities Managers and their teams, fostering employee development throughcoaching, training, mentoring, and performance management.

  • Leverage extensive knowledge offacilities management operations, business objectives, and cross-functionalpartnerships to drive team and organizational success.

  • Identify, analyze, and resolve complextechnical, operational, and business challenges across a geographicallydispersed portfolio.

  • Evaluate decisions through both aregional and organizational lens, understanding their broader impact onbusiness operations and client satisfaction.

  • Continuously improve existingprocesses, procedures, and operational standards to enhance service delivery,efficiency, and compliance.

  • Develop and execute strategic plansfor facility operations, maintenance programs, and capital improvement projectsacross multiple regions.

  • Conduct regular site visits andfacility inspections, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federalregulations while identifying opportunities for operational improvements andcost savings.

  • Manage and optimize operating andcapital budgets, including forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting,and expenditure tracking across multiple locations.

  • Build and maintain strong clientrelationships, serving as a trusted advisor and leading discussions related tofacilities strategy, performance, and issue resolution.

  • Oversee vendor and contractorrelationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring high-quality, cost-effectiveservice delivery.

  • Champion environmental health andsafety initiatives, promoting a culture of safety and regulatory complianceacross all facilities within the portfolio.

  • Lead advanced training programsfocused on maintenance operations, repair procedures, safety protocols, andfacilities management best practices.

  • Drive high-level problem-solving anddecision-making, addressing complex organizational challenges and implementinginnovative solutions where established processes may not exist.

  • Model and promote CBRE's RISE values,positively influencing stakeholders and fostering collaboration to achieveshared business objectives.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 5–8years of relevant facilities, operations, or property management experience. Inlieu of a degree, an equivalent combination of education and professionalexperience will be considered. Prior people management experience is required.

  • Demonstrated experience in talentmanagement, including recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, mentoring,performance management, employee development, and retention strategies.

  • Strong communication and interpersonalskills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information, setclear performance expectations, influence stakeholders, and navigate sensitiveor challenging situations.

  • Proven leadership capabilities withexperience motivating and developing teams to achieve operational objectivesand drive results across multiple functions and business areas.

  • Ability to think strategically whilebalancing day-to-day operational priorities in a fast-paced, client-focusedenvironment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solvingskills, with the ability to assess complex situations, identify solutions, andmake informed business decisions.

  • Advanced proficiency in MicrosoftOffice Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with the abilityto analyze data, prepare reports, and communicate effectively withstakeholders.

  • Solid financial acumen with experiencemanaging budgets, forecasts, variance reporting, and capital expenditures.

  • Strong mathematical skills, includingthe ability to perform financial analyses and calculate percentages, ratios,forecasts, and other business-related metrics.

  • Ability to build collaborativerelationships across all levels of the organization while effectively managingclient, vendor, and contractor partnerships.

  • Applicantsmust be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need forvisa sponsorship now or in the future.

California Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr. Regional Facilities Manager position is $160,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $170,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
