Job Overview
Objectives
- Collaborate with the CEO to set and drive organizational vision, operations strategy,
profitability and hiring.
- Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, goal setting, performance
management, and annual planning.
- Oversee operations and employee productivity, building a culture ensuring team
members thrive and achieve goals.
- Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management and
retention of team members.
Role & Responsibilities

Partner with the CEO (Visionary) on short and long-term planning.
-
Executes the business plan, achieving or exceeding planned P&L objectives.
-
Own the scorecard and leverage it to proactively identify issues.
-
Leads, manages, and holds the leadership team accountable for achieving agreed-upon
commitments.
-
Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process development or improvement.
-
Implement strategies that align with the short- and long-term objectives developed by the
CEO.
- Oversee operations, HR, and accounting, and partner with the CEO in sales and
marketing management.
- Manage revenue and expenses aggressively to ensure the company achieves both
growth and profitability targets.
- Monitor performance with tracking software and take corrective measures when
necessary.

Prepare detailed KPI updates, reports and forecasts for the CEO.

Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, lenders
and investors.

Motivates and leads a high-performance management team.

Attracts, recruits, and retains required members of the executive team not currently in
place
- Be willing to take on new tasks with an attitude that no task is too small, impossible or
cannot be improved.

Work autonomously while ensuring CEO expectations are readily met and exceeded.

Fosters a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.

Integrates all major operating functions of the business using the Entrepreneurial
Operating System (EOS). Ensures everyone is rowing together in the same direction.
Models the way, always working toward the greater good of the business.
- Resolves issues quickly and effectively - seeing real problems, being comfortable with
conflict, calling out the problems, and solving the problems in a practical and healthy
manner. Ensures the leadership team is healthy, functional, and cohesive.
- Ensures that everyone is truly following, and adhering to, the company’s core processes
and operating system with consistency. Demonstrates effective project management and
continuous improvement skills. Uses both skills to evolve our core processes.
- Dependably demonstrates a relentless obsession with values alignment, focus,
simplicity, and clarity.
- Effectively collaborates with the CEO (Visionary) to remain aligned at all times. Maintains
a high level of mutual respect with the CEO. Realizes the unique contributions and ideas
that the CEO has and possesses an ability to filter and translate those ideas into
functional plans for the company.
Required Skills and Qualifications
-
Five or more years of experience in executive leadership roles.

Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field required.

In-depth understanding of budgeting, balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, and
capital planning.

Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve.
-
Understanding of advanced business planning and financial forecasting and reporting.
-
Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics.
-
Ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issues.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
-
MBA strongly preferred.
-
Sales, Manufacturing, Ecom, and Distribution experience recommended.
Key Process Indicators

Top line revenue and bottom line profit margin
-
Responsible for all team members underneath them hitting their respective metrics
goals.
