Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join one of our clients in the Southern Massachusetts area. This position will focus on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial grade 3d printers at customer sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, hands-on experience with tools and machinery, and the ability to represent the company professionally while working directly with customers. Candidates must be comfortable traveling 50-100 miles on a daily basis, with occasional plane travel as required. This is a permanent position that will be paid hourly and has overtime opportunity.

Skills and Requirements

Skill Set Approximately 3 years of hands-on technical/mechanical experience Industrial maintenance, field service, or equipment repair experience Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities Experience working hands-on with tools and machinery Comfortable working independently at customer sites Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to travel to different client locations as needed (75% Travel) Willingness to learn plastic technology equipment Pluses Previous field service experience Experience maintaining or repairing industrial machinery Automotive technician background Military veteran with technical or mechanical experience - Strong Plus Experience working as a technician on a military base Previous customer-facing or client-site experience Experience with plastic or metals technology equipment
