Job Description

Responsibilities

We are seeking a pediatric psychologist with training and experience in pediatric hematology/oncology services who will deliver evidence-based assessment and treatment services to patients across inpatient and outpatient settings. Appointment will be a combined 1.0 FTE with Norton C Hildren's Medical Group, affiliated with the University of Louisville School of Medicine, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry & Psychology.

The psychologist will also be involved with training psychology residents in our APA-accredited doctoral internship in Clinical Child/Pediatric Psychology, post-doctoral psychology fellows, child psychiatry residents, pediatrics residents, and medical students. While the position is primarily clinical in focus, the faculty member will have opportunities for research and clinical innovation. The faculty appointment for this position is at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Department of Pediatrics. The applicant should be licensed or license-eligible in the state of Kentucky.
