Full job description

Description

SAIC is currently seeking an Integration Engineer in support of AvMC located in Huntsville, AL . This position is a hands-on position with a primary focus on integration activities within a hardware-in-the-loop system.

The Integration Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:

  • Perform integration of hardware, software, and complex electronics

  • Document integration and configuration procedures and information

  • Review and understand system requirements

  • Review and perform system tests to ensure that requirements are met

  • Develop test procedures as needed to support integration testing when hardware is not available

  • Support test events

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field and zero (0) years’ experience

Required Clearance:

  • Must possess an active interim Secret security clearance to start with the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance; US Citizenship required.

Required Skills:

  • Solid communication experience

  • Hardware and software configuration and troubleshooting experience

  • Solid Microsoft office skills

  • Demonstrated aptitude to learn complex technical aspects of a hardware and software systems

  • Desire to work in fast paced technically challenging environment

Desired Skills:

  • Systems test experience

  • Experience working in a fast pace environment

  • Experience using various operating systems
