Standard Job Description

As part of the Strategic Sourcing team, we are looking for a Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM) to be a key member responsible for building and sustaining high‑performance supplier partnerships that reduce risk, drive cost‑effective innovation, and support program delivery across the Missiles & Fire Control Business Area. This work will be done both independently and in conjunction with supply chain program teams as required.

Additional tasks include supporting the GSC Operations Team, contributing to supply chain initiatives and strategy, and educating supply chain partners on Supplier Relationship Building activity along with Strategic Sourcing initiatives and program Resiliency initiatives. The ideal candidate for this role will lead enterprise‑wide supply‑chain initiatives (Executive Engagements, Sourcing workshops, Resiliency projects) focused on Munitions Acceleration initiatives while also supporting Supplier Relationship Management efforts in support of EO (Enterprise Operations). The candidate will also provide mentorship and training to junior sourcing staff and supply‑chain partners to aid growth within the Global Supply Chain organization.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead Orlando supply‑chain resiliency efforts and coordinate with program teams.

  • Support resiliency for the Munitions Acceleration Initiative, driving supply‑chain robustness.

  • Manage supplier technology roadmaps for new and existing suppliers aligned with Orlando technical needs.

  • Guide Subcontract Management teams in informed sourcing across commodity areas.

  • Cultivate supplier relationships and identify new sourcing opportunities.

  • Attend make/buy reviews, ME liaison activities, and participate in relevant meetings.

  • Maintain strategic‑sourcing documentation and data (supplier status, trip briefs, etc.).

  • Establish regular rhythms and lead discussions with Orlando program teams.

  • Ensure collaborative supplier engagements and attend trade shows to uncover adjacent industry opportunities.

Basic Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Procurement, Subcontract Management, Proposal Process, Risk Mitigation & Project Management as it relates to Supply Chain and Operations efforts

  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated self-starter approach

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities during task execution to meet mission success

  • Strong ability to resolve tactical obstacles and make strategic decisions while delivering results

  • Detail and teamwork oriented with strong demonstration in organizational skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Self-motivated with demonstrated sense of urgency

  • Ownership of tasking and accountability

  • Works independently and in a team environment

  • Project Manager experience

  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to lead initiatives spanning across multiple functions

  • Ability to travel

Desired Skills

  • Demonstrated negotiation skills and strategies

  • Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP) and FAR/DFARs

  • SAP and P2P experience

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional organizations and build working relationships

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills

  • Ability to obtain US Secret Security Clearance

  • Experience implementing changes to improve process

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
