Job Description

The eCommerce Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution and optimization of our client’s omni-channel marketplace operations. This role ensures product listings, digital content, and promotions are accurately maintained across all platforms, including Amazon, Walmart, Target+, Shopify, and emerging channels. The Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining content integrity, supporting product launches, and leveraging syndication tools like Rithum to ensure consistency and performance across all digital shelves.

Key Responsibilities Marketplace Operations & Content Management

  • Maintain and update product listings across multiple eCommerce platforms, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and brand consistency.

  • Manage product content syndication using Rithum (or similar tools), including distribution, validation, and QA across channels.

  • Monitor product detail pages for content health, availability, and buy box status; troubleshoot and resolve issues as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with channel-specific requirements, policies, and content standards. Product Setup & Merchandising Execution

  • Support item setup and onboarding for new SKUs across all marketplaces and DTC platforms.

  • Partner with Creative and Marketing teams to execute merchandising updates, including A+ content, enhanced brand content, and seasonal campaigns.

  • Ensure timely and accurate implementation of pricing, promotions, and digital assets across all channels. Data Monitoring & Reporting

  • Pull and analyze basic reports to identify content gaps, listing issues, and performance trends.

  • Track key metrics related to product page performance, content accuracy, and promotional effectiveness.

  • Provide actionable insights and flag issues impacting sales, visibility, or customer experience. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to support cross-functional initiatives and ensure alignment across channels.

  • Assist in coordinating marketplace updates, product launches, and operational workflows to ensure seamless execution.

  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding listing updates, issues, and performance insights. Leadership Expectations

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ownership over assigned platforms and tasks. Operate with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a bias for action.

  • Maintain organization and accuracy while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Uphold company standards for brand consistency, data integrity, and operational excellence. Performance Measures and Success Indicators Performance for this role will be evaluated by your direct manager and may include the following measurable outcomes:

  • Accuracy and consistency of product listings and content across all platforms.

  • Timely execution of product launches, updates, and promotional campaigns.

  • Reduction in listing errors, content discrepancies, and compliance issues.

  • Improved content health scores and marketplace performance metrics.

  • Effective cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Skills and Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in eCommerce operations, preferably within consumer goods or retail.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller/Vendor Central, Walmart Marketplace, or similar platforms required.
  • Familiarity with syndication tools such as Rithum, Salsify, or similar.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to manage and analyze large datasets.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Experience supporting both DTC and retail marketplaces is a plus.
