Full job description
SENIOR SOCIAL SERVICE AIDE: Under the limited supervision of a supervisory official in the Department of Health, performs complex paraprofessional work involving the clarification of agency policies relating to the particular needs of the client and assisting in the full utilization of available services as part of a preventive, rehabilitative, and/or treatment program; does other related duties as required.
62133C - Bilingual in Spanish and English
SPECIAL SKILL: Applicants must be able to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in Spanish and English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position.
REQUIREMENTS:
EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of experience in subprofessional social service experience.
NOTE: Applicants who do not possess the required experience may substitute completion of thirty (30) semester hour college credits for the year of experience.
LICENSE: Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee
mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
