Full job description

Job Description

One of our transportation clients is seeing a seeking a Compensation Analyst focused on variable pay. This role will support the Director-Variable Pay and Systems and will be actively involved in our variable and merit programs, including bonus, commission and variable pay plans. This role will perform regular analysis on all incentive programs and proactively research and identify market trends related to variable compensation.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct routine analysis on bonus, commission and variable pay programs and present findings to department leadership
  • Research and identify market trends related to variable compensation and incentive pay
  • Assist in the design of incentive pay programs that properly reward our associates
  • Lead processes that support the formal and discretionary awards administration
  • Evaluate pay processes and implement process improvement solutions
  • Provide support to special projects as assigned

Skills and Requirements

  • 3 years of compensation or analyst experience required
  • Experience specifically with variable pay plans or bonus and commission plans is strongly preferred
  • General understanding of compensation practices and pay laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of compensation systems, preferably Oracle
  • Intermediate Excel skills required, Access and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
