Full job description
Plays an instrumental role in preparing, maintaining, and reviewing financials including month end processes, reporting, cost analysis, capital expenditure requests, budgeting, and providing support for finance related audits and projects. Maintains general ledger and ensures entries are accurate and adjustments are made as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Maintains general ledger. Prepares standardized entries and adjusts as needed.

Identifies inaccuracies in general ledger, documentation, missing payments, etc. Performs account reconciliations.

Prepares, records, analyzes, and reports on financial transactions and ensures the integrity of records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with generally accepted accounting policies and principles.

Collaborates and utilizes standard processes to complete various month end tasks ensuring the achievement of an accurate and timely month end close, which includes recording journal entries and month-end reporting.

Works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of relevant tasks (i.e., accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, etc.).

Gathers, reviews, and reports on financial data that is critical to the success of the organization. Responsible for ensuring the integrity of reported details.

Assumes ownership of standard financial reports and data reviews. Creates ad hoc reports and gathers relevant data to support deep dive analysis, financial projects, and cross-functional projects (i.e., capital expenditures, economic impact, sustainability, AOP process, ROI interviews and analysis, etc.).

Conducts or assists in the documentation of finance projects.

Provides data and documentation necessary for internal and external audits, financial statements, and internal controls.
Minimum Qualifications (Educations & Experience)

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

3+ years of relevant experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role

Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions

Work will be performed in a variety of conditions including a climate-controlled office environment(s) and in a manufacturing plant environment with varying conditions, such as cold areas, wet areas, warm areas, chemicals, and other site conditions. This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment while in the manufacturing environment.

The noise level of the office environment is usually moderate; the noise level in the manufacturing environment may exceed 85 DBA and require hearing protection.

Occasional travel may be required.
