Event Staff Supervisor

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $25 - $25 / hour*

What you'll be doing as an Event Staff Supervisor:

  • Supervise and provide direction to event staff throughout the shift

  • Conduct staff check-in and verify attendance before the event

  • Assign employees to designated workstations and responsibilities

  • Oversee cashiers, ticket scanners, bag checkers, and ticket booth operators

  • Coordinate employee breaks, lunches, rotations, and coverage

  • Monitor staff performance, professionalism, and adherence to customer service standards

  • Ensure employees follow event procedures, dress code, and safety requirements

  • Assist with guest questions, concerns, and escalations

  • Address staffing issues, including late arrivals, call-offs, and coverage needs

  • Communicate operational concerns, incidents, and staffing updates to event management

  • Provide coaching and corrective guidance when necessary

  • Maintain accurate staff headcounts throughout the event

  • Manage entry lines and guest flow during peak attendance periods

  • Complete end-of-shift staff checkout and document any issues or incidents

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 2nd Shift (Evening) And 3rd Shift (Night)

Job requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory, team lead, event, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to lead, direct, and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure

  • Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor

  • Ability to effectively handle guest and employee concerns

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift

  • Comfortable using mobile devices, ticketing systems, and point-of-sale (POS) systems

  • Ability to understand and enforce event policies and safety procedures

  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to clearly communicate staffing concerns and operational issues to management

  • Background check and drug test required
