Experienced Healthcare Sales Professional | Relationship-Driven | Growth-Focused | Glendora
Full-Time | Salary + Commission | Hybrid/Field-Based
Turn Relationships Into Growth—and Growth Into Impact
At Homewatch CareGivers of Glendora, connecting seniors and their families with compassionate in-home support is at the heart of what we do. We’re looking for an experienced, well-connected business development professional who understands the healthcare and senior-care landscape and knows how to turn strong professional relationships into meaningful referral partnerships.
This is not an entry-level marketing position. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable walking into a hospital, senior living community, rehabilitation center, physician practice, home health agency or community organization and knowing how to start the right conversations.
Ideally, you already have relationships within the local healthcare and senior-care community. More importantly, you know how to build new ones, uncover needs, create value and become a trusted resource—not simply another salesperson stopping by.
If you thrive on opening doors, developing relationships and seeing those relationships turn into measurable growth, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Enjoy
-
Competitive base salary plus a lucrative ongoing commission structure tied to referral and revenue growth
-
Paid time off and health benefits stipend
-
Autonomy to develop and execute your territory and account strategy
-
A supportive leadership team invested in your success
-
Resources, specialty programs and marketing support to help you bring value to referral partners
-
The opportunity to make a direct impact on both company growth and the families we serve
How You’ll Make a Difference
-Build & Grow Referral Partnerships
Develop and deepen relationships with hospitals, skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers, senior living communities, home health and hospice organizations, physician practices, social-service agencies and other healthcare and senior-service professionals.
-Leverage & Expand Your Network
Bring your existing healthcare and community relationships to the role while continually identifying new decision-makers, influencers and potential referral partners throughout the market.
-Own Your Key Accounts
Identify high-potential referral sources and develop strategic account plans with consistent touchpoints, clear objectives and measurable growth goals. You'll know who your key accounts are, why they matter and what it will take to move each relationship forward.
-Uncover Needs & Create Value
Go beyond the traditional “just checking in” sales call. Ask thoughtful questions, understand the challenges facing your referral partners and connect them with services, education, specialty programs and resources that help solve real problems.
-Turn Relationships Into Referrals
Consistently move relationships forward—from introduction to opportunity, opportunity to referral, and referral to long-term partnership.
-Showcase Our Expertise
Confidently present our services and specialty programs, including memory care, fall prevention and respite care, to healthcare professionals, department leaders and community groups.
-Own Your Numbers
Track referral activity, leads, conversions, starts of care and other key performance indicators. Use the data to identify opportunities, adjust your strategy and demonstrate results.
-Represent Us in the Community
Build visibility and credibility through professional associations, networking groups, healthcare events, community organizations, educational opportunities and other strategic partnerships.
-Support Strategic Marketing Efforts
Partner with the team on events, campaigns, social media, email and other outreach initiatives that support business-development goals. Digital marketing should be to support relationship development rather than being the primary focus.
What You Bring
-
3+ years of business development, sales, community relations or referral-development experience, preferably within home care, home health, hospice, senior living, skilled nursing, healthcare or senior services
-
Established relationships within the local healthcare and senior-care community strongly preferred
-
Demonstrated ability to develop professional referral relationships and turn those relationships into measurable business growth
-
Experience working with healthcare decision-makers, case managers, social workers, discharge planners, executive directors and other professional referral partners
-
Strong consultative selling skills—you know how to ask great questions, uncover needs and offer solutions rather than simply deliver a sales pitch
-
Confidence initiating conversations, asking for referrals and advancing relationships toward a clear next step
-
Experience managing a territory, referral-source pipeline, CRM and performance metrics
-
Strong presentation and communication skills, whether you're meeting one-on-one with a referral partner or presenting to a larger group
-
Self-directed, organized and accountable, with the ability to manage your own schedule and priorities
-
A competitive drive for results balanced with genuine empathy for seniors and families navigating care decisions
We'd Especially Like to Meet You If...
You already know people in the local healthcare and senior-care community—and they know you.
You've built referral relationships before. You understand that successful business development isn't about dropping off brochures, lunches or treats. It's about becoming a trusted resource, consistently following up, uncovering opportunities and bringing value to the people who can connect families with care.
You're comfortable being accountable for results, but you also understand that great referral partnerships aren't transactional. They're built through credibility, consistency and trust.
If that sounds like you, we'd love to talk.
Flexible work from home options available.
