Job Purpose Yes Lead the company’s engineering vision and manage operational capital across multiple locations. Oversee the development of capital plans, ensuring timely communication, execution, and delivery of capital projects within budget.

Essential Functions • Oversee the capital strategy and build out multi-year plans in conjunction with senior functional leader, Commercial Team, Finance, and Operations • Own the total enterprise capital process and budget control while partnering with Finance on forecasting and ROI reporting • Lead, develop, and build a high-performing engineering team; create succession plans among Directors and Project Engineers for future growth • Oversee the development of project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans with stakeholders; collaborate with management to achieve desired results • Define measurable goals and milestones to track progress and ensure alignment with broader organizational objectives • Direct project responsibilities, including the identification of project phases and elements, assignment of personnel to phases and elements, and the review of bids from contractors • Ensure the development of proper project specifications and cost estimates based on product design, customer requirements, performance standards, and technical studies • Oversee project schedule, ensuring project progress is monitored, activities are coordinated, and issues are resolved • Direct comprehensive testing to ensure project performance • Lead capital governance process, including consistent stage gates, approval processes, prioritization of projects, and reporting for all projects across the network • Lead the project review process, including plan design, specifications, and any scheduled changes; approve recommended actions • Ensure project costs are controlled by overseeing expenditure approval and contractor contract administration • Oversee the preparation of project status reports; review findings and recommend actions • Ensure the effective interaction between the Engineering team and management/operations • Support food safety program, quality standards, and legality of manufactured products • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
