Full job description

Join Adecco in a dynamic, corporate environment located within New York, New York. This is an exciting temp-to-hire opportunity to work directly with a Fortune 500 company at their Corporate Offices. If you have a solid background in administrative support and are looking to advance your career within a reputable organization, this position is ideally suited for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mail Handling & Distribution: Sort and distribute incoming/outgoing U.S. mail, overnight packages, interoffice correspondence, and product samples across multiple floors and departments.

  • Shipping & Courier Coordination: Prepare shipments, operate postage machines, determine cost-effective shipping methods, and coordinate with courier services (FedEx, UPS, etc.) for deliveries and issue resolution.

  • Sample Management: Organize and distribute product samples; remove and stage samples designated for charity or disposal.

  • Mailroom Operations: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the mailroom, monitor equipment, record postage meter readings, and initiate service calls as needed.

  • Reporting: Provide daily updates to the mailroom dashboard and track charity bin usage and movement.

  • Facilities Support: Assist with tasks as directed, including conference room setups, supply deliveries, and other building-related needs.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a high-volume corporate mail distribution department or facilities management maintenance department required

  • Familiarity with MS Outlook, Excel and Word software

  • Physical requirement- must be able to lift 50-55 lbs

Additional Details:

  • Work hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

  • Environment: Business casual dress code.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
