C.H. Robinson is currently seeking a Director of Marketing who will lead the business-to-business marketing strategy for the Robinson Managed Solutions (RMS) division, with a strong focus on driving growth through AI solutions, advanced technology platforms, and market-facing product and solution narratives. You will sit at the intersection of technology, product, marketing, communications and enterprise and commercial strategy, translating complex, AI-enabled logistics capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions that drive adoption, revenue growth, and category leadership.

As the Director, you will own marketing strategy for RMS technology solutions and Autonomous Logistics. You will collaborate closely with business and executive leadership, communications and marketing leadership, and channel and brand/creative teams to shape marketing priorities and ensure measurable market clarity, differentiation, and business impact. You will also partner at an enterprise level on solution positioning, and technology storytelling while serving as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the marketing vision, strategy, and go-to-market plans for C.H. Robinson's Robinson Managed Solutions (RMS) technology products, AI-enabled solutions, automation capabilities, and Autonomous Logistics offerings, ensuring alignment with business growth and revenue objectives

  • Translate complex technology, AI, and managed solutions capabilities into compelling value propositions, positioning, messaging, and market narratives that clearly articulate differentiated customer value and drive adoption

  • Partner closely with Product, Technology, Commercial, and Sales leaders to align customer needs, product roadmaps, and solution strategies, while strengthening sales enablement, market readiness, and commercial activation

  • Lead solution-level storytelling across products, platforms, services, and emerging technologies, ensuring consistent messaging across campaigns, executive communications, thought leadership, brand initiatives, and customer-facing channels

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, providing expertise on market trends, competitive dynamics, AI innovation, technology positioning, and growth opportunities to strengthen market differentiation and category leadership

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators, leveraging customer insights, market intelligence, adoption metrics, and business results to optimize marketing effectiveness, prioritize investments, and drive measurable impact

  • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration by bridging technical, product, marketing, communications, and commercial teams to align strategy, execution, and business outcomes

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing organization, building team capability, driving accountability and innovation, and supporting workforce planning, succession development, and organizational growth

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university

  • Minimum 8 years of experience marketing for a tech company, product marketing or technology marketing

  • Minimum 4 years of experience leading and managing teams

  • Demonstrated experience translating complex technology or AI-driven solutions into market-facing value propositions that drive growth

  • Ability to travel up to 15%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Technology, or a related field

  • Strong understanding of AI, automation, data platforms, and digital product ecosystems

  • Proven success leading marketing strategies for enterprise technology products or solutions

  • Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and communication skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders and non-technical audiences

  • Strong financial acumen, comfort managing budgets, and measuring ROI

  • Ability to motivate and drive change within a large, matrixed, global organization

  • Commitment to building an inclusive, diverse, and high-performing team culture

Compensation Range

$127,500.00 - $295,900.00

The base pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Your individual base pay within this range is determined by work location, which takes into account geographic cost of labor, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base pay only and do not include additional variable compensation.
