Description
The UCLA Division of Hematology-Oncology is seeking a Research Administrator to support the pre-award and post-award administration of sponsored research projects. Under general supervision, you will assist with proposal preparation and submission, coordinate compliance activities, maintain grant and award documentation, support financial and administrative management of sponsored funds, and facilitate award closeout processes. This position plays an important role in ensuring compliance with institutional and sponsor requirements while supporting the Division's research mission and growing portfolio of translational research.
Hourly Salary Range: $31.71 - $48.32
Qualifications
Required:
-
High School Diploma.
-
1+ years of research administration experience.
-
1+ years of financial, clerical, or administrative experience.
-
Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate information and establish cooperative working relationships.
-
Ability to work as a member of a team.
-
Ability to set priorities and complete ongoing tasks with competing deadlines.
-
Close attention to detail in a fast-paced, fluctuating workload environment.
-
Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft suite software, especially Excel.
Preferred:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field, or equivalent administration experience.

Organization skills to create and maintain administrative and financial files effectively.
May be subject to test in qualifying skills
