Job Description
Collaborate directly with cross‑functional teams to design, build, and maintain cloud‑hosted applications and services supporting mission‑critical operations.
Work closely with teammates to resolve complex cloud architecture, security, and modernization challenges across development, test, and production environments.
Operate within a highly integrated team supporting DoW and AFSOC, where resiliency, security, and precision are essential to mission success.
Contribute to cloud development efforts through hands‑on implementation, testing, deployment automation, and continuous improvement of cloud environments.
Use advanced AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS), containerization (Docker), Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Ansible), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions aligned with Zero Trust, RMF, STIGs, and DevSecOps principles.
Skills and Requirements
5+ years of combined DoW and/or commercial IT experience
Two (2) of the five (5) years’ experience must be implementing/sustaining enterprise-level solutions in a production cloud environment
Required Technical Skills:
Strong AWS expertise (Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, AWS CLI)
Infrastructure as Code: CloudFormation, Ansible
CI/CD experience: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions
Containerization: Docker
Identity & directory services: Active Directory, IAM, Keycloak, PKI
Linux (RHEL) and Windows administration
Scripting: Bash, Python
Troubleshooting cloud applications across dev/test/prod
Secure cloud configurations aligned with RMF, STIGs, SCAP, DevSecOps
Configuration management and version control (GitLab, GitHub) Linux+ certification
Experience with Red Hat SSO
Experience migrating legacy systems to cloud environments
