The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Division of State-Operated Specialty Care, Bureau of Woodward Resource Center (WRC) is seeking a Storekeeper 2 to join our team! This is a full-time position with a Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. schedule and opportunity for advancement, growth, and development. As a Storekeeper 2, you'll play a pivotal role in our Nutrition and Supply Services Department. What You’ll Do As part of the WRC team, you'll play a crucial role in our mission by working in our Supply Depot to receive, store, and issue facility supplies and material including perishable items. Key Responsibilities Include:

Assemble and deliver orders, including frozen and non-frozen perishable items, for internal customers.

Receive and stock goods, including frozen and non-frozen perishable items, ensure products are in good condition, and follow procedures if damaged products are received.

Store goods in designated areas utilizing a forklift or pallet jack.

Participate in physical inventory counts and maintaining Supply Depot records.

Maintain the physical plant of the Supply Depot, including monitoring refrigerator and freezer temperatures, cleaning of building and grounds, and maintaining building security.

Complete assigned training and other duties as assigned. Key Competencies Successful candidates for this position will demonstrate the following competencies:

Independently assess workload, perform mathematical calculations, place and maintain accurate and timely orders.

Repeatedly lift, push, or pull heavy objects in hot, cold, or humid environments while bending and/or working above shoulders. Applicants will be required to complete a background check to be considered for this position. WRC prepares and supports individuals to live in the community of their choice.
