Full job description

**D.R. Horton, Inc.**is currently looking for aMarketing and Design Coordinator. The right candidateis responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of digital marketing initiatives across social media, search, and email channels. This position ensures marketing projects are organized, assets are delivered on time, and campaigns are executed accurately in alignment with brand standards and business objectives. Support the creation and execution of visual design, merchandising, and marketing initiatives that enhance the homebuying experience and strengthen brand presence. This role is responsible for developing floor plan renderings, marketing collateral, visual assets, and supporting consumer-facing and Realtor-focused marketing campaigns. The Design Coordinator collaborates with Marketing, Sales, Purchasing, and external vendors to ensure all creative materials, model homes, and sales environments accurately reflect company brand standards and product offerings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Coordinate project timelines, task tracking, and deliverables across social media, paid search, and email marketing campaigns

  • Maintain project documentation, schedules, and status updates to ensure alignment across marketing, creative, and technical teams

  • Prepare and organize marketing assets including copy, images, links, and audience lists for campaign deployment

  • Execute campaign setup tasks within marketing platforms

  • Review campaigns and assets for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with brand and compliance requirements prior to launch

  • Track campaign performance metrics and compile reports to support analysis of engagement, traffic, and conversion outcomes

  • Update marketing calendars to provide a clear view of campaign schedules, key milestones, and dependencies

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to facilitate asset delivery, approvals, and issue resolution

  • Assist in maintaining digital asset libraries and campaign documentation for reuse and reference

  • Support testing activities including email proofs, link validation, and basic campaign QA processes

  • Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

  • Ability to work overtime

  • Create and maintain floor plan renderings, community maps, and visual presentation materials for marketing and sales use

  • Design, update, and produce a variety of print and digital marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, signage, presentations, email graphics, social media assets, and sales center materials

  • Coordinate and spearhead model home merchandising efforts, collaborating with designers, decorators, and vendors to create visually compelling model home experiences

  • Coordinate model home and sales center installations, ensuring visual merchandising aligns with brand standards and community positioning

  • Support consumer-driven & Realtor-focused advertising campaigns through creative asset development and campaign execution

  • Ensure floor plans, renderings, photography, and marketing materials remain accurate and current

  • Manage creative projects from concept through production while ensuring deadlines and brand standards are maintained

  • Coordinate vendor relationships related to model merchandising, staging, signage, photography, printing, and marketing production

  • Assist with sourcing and coordinating photography, videography, virtual tours, and other visual content for marketing initiatives

  • Maintain digital asset libraries, templates, and design files for consistent brand execution

  • Stay current on residential design, merchandising, marketing, and graphic design trends and recommend opportunities for innovation and improvement

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing grand openings, community events, and model home launches through visual branding and marketing support

  • Support content creation through graphic design, photography, and visual storytelling

  • Assist with ongoing evaluation and enhancement of model home presentation and customer experience

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 0–2 years of experience in marketing, project coordination, or administrative support

  • Strong computer skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new programs/systems quickly is essential

  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) or comparable design programs

  • Ability to manage multiple creative projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

  • Strong visual design, typography, layout, and presentation skills

  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to interface with other departments to ensure constant communication regarding timing, design elements and access time availability

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form or via DRH applications

  • Ability to stand and walk for 4 hours straight or up to a full 8-hour day; sit for extended periods; kneel and bend at the waist; climb, balance and stoop, crouch or crawl; walk up and down stairs; walk on unlevel terrain; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance, color vision and peripheral vision

  • The noise level is generally moderate

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with marketing tools such as email platforms, social scheduling tools, or project management systems

  • Experience with residential homebuilding, interior design, staging, merchandising, or real estate marketing preferred

  • Photography and photo editing experience preferred

  • Ability to work well within a team
