Description

The Joseph "Eddie" Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center is a 156-bed long term care facility located in beautiful Hanson, Kentucky that is committed to serving Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care.

We are currently seeking a Part-time Dietitian Clinical at our facility. Join our team if you want to give back to those who have given so much for our Country.

Make a lasting impression on our Veterans assisting them by:

• Conducts detailed nutritional assessments

• Prepares diet histories and evaluations of resident food patterns.

• Documents nutritional care plans and makes written evaluations.

• Participates in teams meetings.

The ideal candidate will work within a team-centered environment to meet our commitment to serving Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity, and providing compassionate care.

Must be registered as a dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the credentialing agency for the American Dietetic Association.http://www.cdrnet.org/Must maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this classification. Employing agency is responsible for ensuring employee possesses and maintains required licensure(s), certification(s) or other credentials.

Probationary Period

This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
