Full job description
Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a Direct Hire Electro-Mechanical Technician for 1st and 2nd shift, in LeRoy NY.
Responsibilities :
-
Advanced troubleshooting, repair, installation, and modification of complex industrial electro-mechanical systems.

Diagnose/repair machinery, motor control centers, VFDs, sensors, instrumentation, power distribution equipment, and automated production systems.

Analyze cause of failures and implement corrective actions + preventative maintenance as required

Interpret PLC ladder logic, troubleshoot I/O systems, replace and configure drives and control components, and perform advanced electrical testing using various diagnostic tools.

Lead major repairs, equipment installations, and system upgrades
Qualifications :
-
High school diploma or equivalent required.
-
Technical degree, journeyman certification, or equivalent industrial electrical training preferred.1-2 years of shipping/receiving experience in plant environment

Must be able to read and interpret advanced electrical schematics, PLC ladder logic, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams, and mechanical blueprints

Good written & verbal communication skills
-
Strong mathematical skills required including algebra, formulas, and electrical calculations.
