Reports to:Field Installation Foreman

Position Summary:Install Aluminum Storefront, Curtainwall, Misc. Glazing Systems

Areas of Accountability:

  • Learn and understand company safety policies and procedures and enforce compliance

  • Ensure equipment is safe and reliable in order to reduce equipment downtime and ensure schedules are met

  • Demonstrate ambition to develop personal skills for further advancement

  • Connect rigging to hoist assemblies in place

  • Unload assemblies

  • Operate tools such as grinders, saws and drills

  • Install bolted connections

  • Communicate with Foreman on daily tasks

  • Measure and layout work

  • Assemble components per assembly drawings

  • Direct equipment operators including crane operators

  • Operate telescoping forklift

Requirements

Knowledge & Skills:OSHA 10 hr. Certified structural welder. Ability to operate telescope forklifts

Education:HS diploma or equivalent

Experience:Ability to read installation assembly drawings. Have a valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements:Applicants must be able to walk and stand on feet for extended period of time, lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs., crawl on hands and knees, climb a ladder and be able to work for long hours
