Infrastructure & Connectivity Lead

Onsite | Buda, TX | Contract

Robert Half is hiring an Infrastructure & Connectivity Lead to own infrastructure strategy and integration planning during a complex transformation program. This individual will provide technical leadership across server, virtualization, storage, networking, and connectivity domains.

Responsibilities:

• Lead assessment and documentation of enterprise infrastructure environments.

• Define future-state architecture and integration roadmaps.

• Direct infrastructure consolidation, migration, and modernization initiatives.

• Oversee networking, connectivity, virtualization, storage, and datacenter technologies.

• Drive dependency mapping, risk assessments, and infrastructure rationalization efforts.

• Partner with business and technical stakeholders throughout project execution.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture or enterprise systems engineering.

• Strong expertise with Windows Server, Linux, virtualization platforms, networking, storage, and Microsoft Azure.

• Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, VMware, Hyper-V, or similar technologies.

• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, security, and hybrid infrastructure design.

• Familiarity with load balancers, VPN appliances.

• Familiarity with Unix variants and macOS.

• Familiarity with enterprise-class vendors and product lines strongly preferred (e.g. Cisco, Cisco Meraki, HPE/Aruba, Juniper).
