What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

Lead end-to-end mechanical product development, including feasibility, prototyping, validation, certification and supplier coordination.
-
Drive design‑for‑manufacturability and pilot‑builds to deliver scalable, cost‑effective production‑ready mechanical designs.
-
Develop accurate material, component, and product specifications aligned with quality standards
-
Translate product goals into technical requirements , milestones and prioritized engineering plans.
-
Validate design through testing, prototyping, performance evaluations and third-party compliance.
-
Collaborate cross-functionally (operations, quality ,sourcing & product management) to ensure launch readiness.
-
Own engineering deliverables through the gated sustaining process, driving on-time phase progression.

Lead design reviews, FMEA’s, and risk mitigation to ensure robust engineering outcomes
-
Engage with end users to identify needs and feed validated ideas into the NPI and sustaining pipeline
YOU HAVE
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
-
8+ years of experience in manufacturing, supplier quality, and product engineering.
-
Strong understanding of manufacturing standards, mechanical assemblies, and engineering drawings.
-
Hands-on expertise in metals, polymers, and composites, including forming, machining, and injection molding.
-
Proven ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced, self-directed environments.
-
Proficient in SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor.
-
Experienced in 3D modeling, assemblies, technical drawings, and PDM/PLM systems.
-
Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
-
Self-driven with the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.

Skilled in supplier coordination and engineering collaboration.

Excellent communication skills.
