Process Owner SuccessFactors - Chicago or Decatur, IL or Erlanger, KY

Job Summary: This is a leadership role with global responsibility for developing, optimizing and managing end-to-end HR processes and technologies across a truly global company; and leading HR involvement in planning and deployment of relevant new technology solutions including integrations with the rest of the HR technology environment.

You will work as part of a small team of experts who cover all HR end-to-end processes, acting as consultants to the HR function to drive adoption of leading practices; challenging the status quo; leading continuous improvement activities; trouble-shooting process challenges and identifying options to resolve; and planning, coordinating and supporting roll out of new technologies and technology changes made within each process area. You will use your broad and deep understanding of HR processes (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Compensation, Time & Attendance, Core HR, etc) to ensure that all processes, process permutations and process controls necessary to support HR delivery are identified, defined, documented and embedded across ADM.

Through research and external insights, you will recommend actions that can be taken to optimize current IT investments and mitigate risks as well as identifying opportunities for new technologies to drive improvements to process efficiency and effectiveness. You will assess new release functionality and identify opportunities and implications for users and the wider business. You will work on projects from business case and technical feasibility onwards, collaborating with our ADM IT Business Partners, other HR E2E process owners across our integrated technology environment to ensure alignment with security and privacy policies and our process/data model governance; ensuring detailed documentation of functional and configuration requirements; overseeing development of test scenarios; coordinating end user testing as required and ensuring process documentation and training materials are developed at an appropriate level of granularity.

What you will bring

A desire to drive the success of ADM. Your experience and knowledge will cover:

  • Design and maintenance of global processes including appropriate SOX and business process controls. You must have proven experience of driving consensus across multiple parties with in a large matrix organization.

  • Savviness to champion the approved solution and frame changes in ways that engage the end-user community; design and delivery of end user training.

  • Ability to think innovatively about potential uses of new functionality or ways to improve service

  • Specification of requirements for and/or enhancements to our HR applications including SuccessFactors modules and other complimentary/linked technologies (case management, eFiling, document generation, Time & Attendance, etc) in a complex, global organization

  • Development of strong relationships and ability to manage stakeholders across country HR teams, HR Business Partners, HR Centers of Expertise, IT support teams and external vendors.

  • Ability to engage with colleagues who have deep understanding of specific HR processes and/or local regulations, in order to evaluate localization requests/requirements and determine the right balance of solution change/localization vs. standardization and feasibility of scope. Able to proactively identify risks and weigh resulting impacts.

  • Understanding of process metrics, and hands-on familiarity with HR reporting tools

  • Experience of leading test planning, test execution and defect management processes in support of system enhancements and implementations of new technology and new interfaces

  • Project management/coordination experience, working to challenging deadlines

  • Leading/managing external system implementation (SI) partner resources within implementation projects environment; managing services provided by external suppliers.

What else you need to know about this position. You will:

  • Contribute to the delivery of the ADM HR technology Roadmap by:

  • understanding technology trends in the HR space that can deliver superior Employee Experience and HR process effectiveness;

  • assessing the usefulness of relevant, available technologies to ADM

  • Lead and inspire a global network of Super Users focused on a particular process area; lead development of the capability of the entire HR community in use of available tools and features.

  • Act as HR focal point for non-HR initiatives that interact with HR process areas (for example, IT account provisioning & HR Onboarding; cost center simplification and Core HR record keeping; site access management and Time & Attendance; etc).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years in a process/technology role.

  • Expertise in Core HR data concepts. Strong generalist process knowledge across from Hire to Retire.

  • Proven expertise in use of a range of HR technologies including reporting tools. SuccessFactors knowledge would be advantageous.

  • Proven global process design and implementation project experience.

  • Strong sense of ownership/accountability combined with strong planning and organizational skills.

  • Proactivity and agility.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$100,100.00 - $184,700.00

Salaried Incentive Plan:
