Job Description

A client in the Pottstown, PA area is seeking a Materials Management Manager in support of a defense tech effort. This role will be responsible for the development, management and maintenance of the Receiving, Shipping and Material Control functions for all the facilities under this segement. This position performs the administrative and physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, tracking, distributing and order fulfillment of materials, supplies and equipment. Will be maintaining records and generating reports for accounting, property and other functional areas. The primary responsibility is to control and track materials from receipt through storage to issue and shipment.

Position must be onsite fully 5x a week - working a 9/80 schedule.

Skills and Requirements

-BA/BS degree in business, engineering, accounting or equivalent. -Minimum of 8 years of related functional experience as materials manager or supply chain mgmt -Demonstrated computer skills and proficiency using office software and computerized inventory control system -run obsolescence management -Experience with purchase order and inventory control data in a computerized MRP system -Experience with all facets of inventory management; ABC analysis, cycle counting, remote warehouse locations -Run Master Scheduling, Production Planning, Inventory Control, MRP forecasting, KPI Development and Management, and Audit Compliance
