Role Summary:

Join Colgate-Palmolive’s dynamic Global Audit team as a Senior Internal Auditor providing independent assurance and risk management oversight across our global operations. Reporting to Director, Corporate Audit, this high-impact role is responsible for conducting periodic financial and operational reviews, evaluating internal control environments, and leading special projects to provide assurance to Management and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors. As a key contributor to our global audit function, you will travel globally to partner with business leaders, assess risks, and leverage data analytics and modern digital tools to optimize risk mitigation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain high visibility across Colgate-Palmolive’s worldwide operations while helping protect and build value for our trusted global brands.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and analyze business data to assess risks, prepare comprehensive audit planning memorandums, conduct detailed audit testing, and ensure testing is completed on schedule and fully documented in compliance with departmental standards.

  • Prepare agendas and presentations for audit meetings, lead discussions with key stakeholders, and draft audit reports for Senior Audit Management and executive review to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.

  • Direct, support, and review the work of staff auditors to ensure compliance with audit programs and quality standards, while providing on-the-job training, timely performance feedback, and day-to-day guidance.

  • Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with local business unit personnel worldwide and collaborate with corporate personnel for clarification and application of policies and procedures.

  • Leverage AI-driven tools and data analytics to optimize audit workflows, proactively contribute to digital solutions that enhance team productivity, and conduct special management-requested reviews.

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance required

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken mandatory)

  • 4+ years of experience in Finance

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 60%-70% of the time, the majority being international travel

  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs/ Sheets/Slides), Microsoft and/or DOMO reports

  • Knowledge of SAP

  • Working knowledge of business and financial processes and internal controls (GAAP, SOX, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA, CIA or equivalent

  • Public Accounting or Big Four, experience

  • Leverage AI-driven tools and data analytics to optimize workflows, while proactively contribute to design and implement digital solutions that enhance team productivity.

  • Excellent communication and writing skills

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills

  • An inquisitive mind, with an appetite for discovery

  • Demonstrate maturity and confidence to have effective discussions with senior management.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range $96,800.00 - $137,000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
