Are you a graduate or early-career accounting professional looking to launch or grow your career? Robert Half is actively partnering with organizations throughout the Capital Region that are seeking motivated Entry-Level and Junior Accountants to join their teams. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field who are looking to gain hands-on experience, build their technical skills, and advance within the accounting profession.

What You'll Do:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

• Prepare and enter journal entries.

• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.

• Support month-end and year-end close processes.

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

• Assist with account analysis and financial reporting.

• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies.

• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.

• Work with Excel and accounting software to organize and analyze financial data.

• Partner with accounting and finance teams on special projects and process improvements.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Internship experience, accounting coursework, or 0-3 years of accounting experience preferred.

• Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team environment.

• Eagerness to develop professionally and grow within an accounting career.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship, co-op, or part-time accounting experience.

• Experience with ERP or accounting software.

• Exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, or general ledger activities.

• CPA-track candidates are encouraged to apply.
