Integration Support - Federal Customer (Chantilly - VA)

Job summary

The Deployment & Field Support professional supports Dell Mission Operations by providing the hands-on installation, sustainment, troubleshooting, and field execution needed to keep mission systems operational. This role is responsible for deployment support, break-fix work, hardware handling, ticket resolution, and direct coordination with engineering and operations teams. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on technical ability, responsiveness, and a customer-focused approach to problem resolution in a secure environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform installation, integration, cabling, hardware swaps, and physical support tasks

  • Troubleshoot break-fix incidents and restore services as quickly as possible

  • Support tickets, service requests, and field issues through closure

  • Validate equipment functionality and document support actions taken

  • Coordinate with systems, network, automation, and logistics teams during deployments and sustainment

  • Maintain tools, spares, parts, and support readiness as required

  • Follow site procedures, escalation paths, and change practices

  • Provide direct customer-facing support in operational settings

Required qualifications

  • Experience in field engineering, integration support, break-fix, deployment, or technical support roles

  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills across hardware and infrastructure components

  • Experience with ticket-based workflows and service response expectations

  • Ability to work onsite and support physically active technical tasks

  • Strong communication and team coordination skills

  • Active TS/SCI and ability to maintain access as required by the program

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in data center, lab, or secure facility support environments

  • Experience with imaging, build, rack-and-stack, or cable management activities

  • Experience supporting shift work, travel, or after-hours response as needed

  • Familiarity with spare parts control, asset handling, and escalation coordination

  • Experience supporting government or classified programs

Work environment / program context

This role serves as the execution layer closest to the equipment and the user. This position focuses on deployment preparation and operational support.
