Mechanical Design Engineer - India

Position Overview

The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for supporting mechanical design engineering activities and providing customer-facing technical support. This role works closely with internal cross-functional teams and customers to deliver high-quality, cost-effective engineered solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design Engineering

  • Support Mechanical design and development of custom engineered products.

  • Create and review CAD models, drawings,BOM, tolerances, and engineering documentation.

  • Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure design for manufacturability.

  • Customer-Facing Support

  • Serve as the primary technical interface for assigned customers.

  • Conduct technical reviews, presentations, and customer meetings.

  • Translate customer requirements into engineering solutions.

  • Program Support

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to support customer programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  • 3+ years of mechanical design experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, Creo, or similar).

  • Experience in customer-facing engineering roles.

  • Ability to travel up to 30% as required.
