Job Description A hardware engineer designs, develops, and tests computer hardware components. They also ensure that hardware works with the latest software.

Hardware Engineer The Hardware Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring our new hardware designs meet design requirements. Qualifications PERMANENT RESIDENTS AND UNITED STATES CITIZENS ONLY! ON-SITE ROLE ONLY!

Required experience & education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

  • Minimum of 2+ years of electromechanical troubleshooting or testing experience

  • Experience writing scripts using LabVIEW, Python or MATLAB

  • Experience troubleshooting or testing electromechanical products

  • Familiarity with ethernet and/or CAN communication protocols

  • Experience and working knowledge of common test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, electric load, current sensors, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and LISNs)

Nice to have's:

  • EMI and Environment testing

  • Experience conducting testing per MIL-STD-810H, MIL-STD-461G, MIL-STD-464, DO-160 or similar standards.
