Description

Position Overview. We are seeking a customer-focused Site IT Support Technician to deliver reliable, hands-on technology support. This role supports associates in office and manufacturing settings, owns incidents and service requests through resolution, maintains end-user technology and assets, and partners with internal teams and vendors to keep site operations productive. The successful candidate is technically capable, proactive, organized, and comfortable balancing daily support with project and lifecycle activities. Key Responsibilities Own and resolve assigned incidents and service requests in ServiceNow, including accurate categorization, troubleshooting notes, customer communication, escalation, and closure. Provide on-site and remote support for Windows laptops and desktops, tablets, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, Microsoft 365 applications, collaboration tools, and approved business software. Configure, deploy, test, maintain, refresh, recover, and retire end-user devices in accordance with documented processes. Support new-hire onboarding, associate moves, device replacements, software installations, profile setup, and technology orientation. Maintain accurate hardware inventory and asset records, reconcile stock and assigned devices, and support CMDB and lifecycle-management activities. Provide conference-room and audio/visual support, including health checks, meeting and event assistance, basic troubleshooting, and coordination with specialized vendors or support teams. Perform smart-hands support for site infrastructure such as servers, network equipment, UPS devices, and other on-site technology under the direction of the responsible technical team. Coordinate warranty repairs, hardware replacements, shipping, receiving, depot activities, and third-party vendor work. Follow ITIL-aligned incident, request, change, asset, problem, security, and knowledge-management processes. Create and maintain knowledge articles, procedures, playbooks, training materials, and other operational documentation. Support approved projects, refreshes, moves, integrations, and special requests; communicate risks, dependencies, status, and completion details. Identify recurring issues and recommend practical improvements that reduce tickets, improve response or restoration time, increase efficiency, and improve the associate experience. Comply with site safety, security, data-handling, business ethics, and local facility requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on deskside, desktop, field-services, or enterprise technical-support experience, or comparable demonstrated capability. Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, common browsers, printers, peripherals, mobile devices, and basic network connectivity. Experience using an ITSM or ticketing platform; ServiceNow experience is strongly preferred. Ability to troubleshoot methodically, follow documented procedures, recognize scope boundaries, and escalate effectively. Strong written and verbal communication with a professional, customer-focused approach. Ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records, and work independently while collaborating with distributed teams. Ability to meet the approved on-site schedule and any site-specific travel, on-call, or after-hours requirements as needed

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
