Adult Hospitalist Details

  • Join the team of 9 Adult Hospitalists at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center

  • Work alongside highly trained specialists across the continuum of specialties

  • No required procedures

  • Teaching hospital- IM & FM Residents, Cardiology Fellows, Medical Students

  • Our model allows for flexible scheduling: Full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities available

  • Full-time= 168 12-hr shifts/year (2016 hours/year)

Highly compensated with excellent benefits!

  • Base (Day) Salary- $331,343/year; $164.36/hour

  • Base (Nocturnist) Salary- $377,723/year; $187.36/hour

  • Extra shifts available for extra pay!

  • Recruitment Bonus: $75,000

  • Moving Allowance: up to $15,000

  • CME - $6,000/year

  • 501(c)(3) non-profit organization- Public Student Loan Forgiveness eligible

  • Benefits start day 1 of employment

Qualifications

  • BC/BE - Must be Internal Medicine board certified within?3 years of becoming eligible

  • H1B & J1 candidates encouraged to apply

  • Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school

  • Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program

  • Must be able to obtain MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center medical staff privileges

  • Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa?physician license;?Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.

  • All offers are contingent upon the successful completion of references, background check, pre-employment physical and drug screen.
