Job Description

BAE Systems is hiring a Director- Programs Campaign Lead to support our Combat Mission Systems (CMS) business Ground Maneuver Futures. The role will serve as a Campaign Director to develop, lead, and manage strategies for AMPV and Bradley Fighting Vehicles. The Director will be responsible for identifying opportunities, analyzing strategic relevance, and creating and executing comprehensive plans to introduce new products and drive growth and revenue. This role will lead cross-functional collaboration, strategic development, business case analysis, and effective communication and relationship management both internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an integrated strategic Campaign aligning with business objectives and customer needs to win in the US Army s new Transformation in Contact (TIC) environment

  • Lead a team of capture professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including market creation, communications, program management, and product development to ensure campaign alignment and effective execution

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform campaign strategy and tactics

  • Conduct business case analyses to identify opportunities, assess risks, and evaluate return on investment (ROI)

  • Create and present compelling business cases to internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership and customers

  • Develop and manage campaign budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and ROI

  • Foster strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to drive campaign success

  • Optimize the Department of War (DoW) Acquisition Processes, for both domestic and international markets

  • Understand the Department of War (DoW) budgetary process and develop strategies to shape POM decisions

  • Stay current on DoW and Army published priorities and documentation impacting Ground Maneuver

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Active Clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance

  • Bachelor's Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful campaigns that drive growth and revenue

  • Experience in Business Development, Capture Management, Campaign Strategy, Strategic Market Development/Growth, or related

  • Experience in Strategic Campaign Development

  • Experience in Business Case analysis and ROI evaluation

  • Experience in Defense (DoD) Contracting or similar industries

  • Experience in People Management, including developing and managing high-performing teams

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Ability to effectively articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Master's Degree in Business, Strategy, or a related field

  • Certification in Business Analysis, Capture, Program Management, or a related (e.g., CBAP, CMM)

  • Experience in the Aerospace and Defense with a focus on Armored Personnel Carriers, Infantry Fighting Vehicles, or related technologies

  • Experience with Campaign Management tools and technologies (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, etc.)

  • Experience briefing senior executives and senior Defense department stakeholders on complex topics

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $173023 - $294137

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
