Budget Analyst II $67,000 - $84,000 | Hybrid with in person reporting to Duluth or Cohasset MN

Play a key role in managing company budgets, forecasting expenditures, and delivering accurate financial reporting that supports organizational goals. Combines analytical expertise, process improvement, and customer-focused support to strengthen financial controls and optimize business performance.

What you'll do

  • Prepare, monitor, revise and report on assigned Company budgets and actual expenditures relative to those budgets ensuring budget integrity for regulatory purposes and control of company resources.

  • Develop and maintain report formats, procedures, and revisions of existing systems.

  • Budget information is reviewed, analyzed and changes are recommended to ensure consistency with company policies and practices.

  • Budgeting systems and models are used and maintained to full capability.

  • Investigate and implement new technology solutions, systems and methods

  • Consolidate and update budgetary processes

  • Provide training on budgeting and accounting expertise, training and troubleshooting capability with department staff and other company employees

  • Ensure budgeting integrity is ensured for regulatory purposes and the control of business costs

  • Ensure all report preparation meets operational and reporting requirements

  • Administrative responsibilities support department requirements

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or analytics or equivalent PLUS four years or more job related experience.

  • If equivalent, must have taken related accounting courses. OR

  • Master's in Business Administration degree (MBA) PLUS three years or more job related experience.

The expected annual compensation range for this position is $67,000 - $84,000. Compensation offered to the selected candidate will vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, training, and experience. Additionally, this position qualifies for a comprehensive benefits package including:
