Job Duties
The Marketing Specialist manages marketing projects from concept through execution, develops customer-facing communications, coordinates cross-functional resources, and analyzes program performance to drive continuous improvement. In addition to segment responsibilities, each Marketing Specialist serves as the team's subject matter expert and primary owner for designated marketing disciplines while supporting team initiatives across all business segments.
Business Segment Partnership
Support assigned business segments through the development and execution of annual marketing communication plans.
Partner with business leaders to identify marketing opportunities and support strategic business objectives.
Participate in planning sessions to develop marketing initiatives, content strategies, communication plans, and launch programs.
Recommend appropriate marketing channels, tactics, and messaging based on business goals and target audiences.
Support product launches, growth initiatives, market expansion efforts, and customer engagement programs.
Conduct regular reviews with business stakeholders to evaluate progress, align priorities, and identify future opportunities.
Campaign Strategy & Project Management
Lead integrated marketing campaigns from planning through implementation and measurement.
Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
Facilitate project kickoffs and coordinate activities across cross-functional teams.
Manage project scope, deliverables, approvals, and schedules to ensure successful execution.
Maintain project documentation, status reports, meeting summaries, and communication plans.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Identify risks, resolve issues, and proactively communicate project status to stakeholders.
Content Development & Communications
Coordinate content creation for your assigned segment for email marketing, websites, social media, sales collateral, videos, advertising, public relations, and promotional programs.
Work with business teams, technical teams, legal, customer service, and external partners to develop and review content.
Ensure communication materials align with brand standards, product positioning, and business objectives.
Manage content distribution and deployment through appropriate marketing channels.
Support the development and maintenance of marketing collateral, sales tools, customer success stories, case studies, and promotional materials.
Assist with the creation of sales enablement resources that support customer engagement and business growth.
Marketing Program Execution
Coordinate and execute event marketing programs, trade shows and industry events.
Support event planning, logistics, communications, and pre and post-event follow-up activities.
Manage marketing assets, collateral inventories, and content repositories as assigned.
Ensure effective execution of marketing programs and customer engagement initiatives.
Serve as a marketing liaison to assigned sales teams, helping prioritize requests and align marketing activities with business objectives and available resources.
Measurement, Reporting & Optimization
Monitor and analyze the performance for assigned marketing campaigns and programs.
Develop campaign summaries, dashboards, and performance reports for assigned initiatives and business segments.
Provide recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness, customer engagement, and marketing return on investment.
Functional Expertise & Team Leadership
Serve as the primary owner and subject matter expert for assigned marketing functions while supporting team initiatives across all business segments.

Develop best practices, processes, standards, and documentation within assigned areas of responsibility.
Provide leadership and guidance on assigned projects and functional areas, influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Maintain ownership of designated marketing functions while ensuring appropriate knowledge sharing and cross-training across the team.
Establish and maintain clear ownership, backup coverage, and support responsibilities for assigned marketing functions to ensure continuity and accountability across the team.
Support the management and optimization of marketing processes, technology platforms, workflows, asset management systems, and project management tools to improve team effectiveness and business support.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor's Degree.
Must have three (3) years of experience in marketing, communications, project management, or related marketing roles.
Must have experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns and communication programs.
Must have experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred Requirements:
Have a Master's Degree.
Have experience in B2B marketing.
Have experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, construction, building products, or related industries.
Have experience with marketing automation, CMS platforms, CRM systems, and campaign analytics.
