Backed by the scale, resources, and market presence of a global network, this organization operates with the energy, ambition, and pace of a startup. We are assembling a founding team of builders, innovators, and problem solvers who are excited by the opportunity to create new products, shape new ways of working, and help define the future of technology-enabled business at KPMG. If you thrive in entrepreneurial environments, embrace ambiguity, and are motivated by the potential to make a lasting impact from the ground up, we invite you to consider joining us on this journey.
KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Platform Product Management to join our Product organization.
Responsibilities:
Shape the multi-year platform strategy and integrated roadmaps for an AI-native platform across multiple complex domains, aligning product, technology, and firm priorities
Own the capability inventory and assessment across advisory and relevant functions, identifying recurring workflows, agents, data models, and integrations that should become reusable platform assets - and harvest the best of them into the shared platform in collaboration with our engineering organization
Lead cross-domain recommendations on shared versus product-specific capabilities and build, buy, partner, or harvest options for senior product and technology leaders
Advise engineering and architecture leaders on cross-platform architecture and integration decisions, prioritize technical debt, and ensure reusable capabilities meet scalability, reliability, security, regulatory, and technical standards
Resolve major roadmap, dependency, reuse, and investment trade-offs across platform domains and product teams, using customer needs, technical feasibility, critical gaps, and platform value to guide decisions
Set platform adoption and reuse measures, using build-time, cost, reliability, and product-team outcomes; Drive internal adoption through evangelism, documentation and developer experience; Coach professionals and advance technical product-management practices across teams
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
Minimum ten years of recent experience in product management for technical products or platforms, including owning a B2B or enterprise platform product end to end
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; Minimum of a high school GED is required; Minimum of twelve years of equivalent professional experience is required
Proven experience shaping platform strategy across complex technical products, platforms, or processes with results in platform adoption, cross product reuse, delivery speed, cost, or customer outcomes; experience in a complex or regulated environment is preferred
Deep technical product management experience, including product lifecycle management, cross-product prioritization, analytics and experimentation, and defining non-functional requirements (NFRs) and service level objectives (SLOs). Demonstrated fluency in application programming interfaces (APIs), data models, AI and agent frameworks, integration patterns, and technical debt trade-off decisions
Demonstrated daily use of AI across working practice, and platforms or products that have shipped or shaped where AI and agent frameworks were core rather than decorative; ability to guide shared versus product-specific capability decisions and develop build, buy, partner, or harvest recommendations
Ability to operate with limited oversight, advise senior product and technology leaders, resolve complex cross-platform trade-offs, and coach professionals in leading technical product-management practices; preferred experience with developer or internal platforms (i.e. Agent orchestration, connector and integration architecture, or governed AI tooling) with audit trails and human-in-the-loop controls with application, data, or legacy modernization tooling
